PPL (A) Deluxe Training Course

Introduction

A Private Pilot License (PPL) Aviation Training Course is a comprehensive program designed to prepare aspiring pilots to fly as private pilots in command, on single engine piston (SEP) aircrafts under visual flight rules. The possibility is given to the candidate to obtain a PPL License and make flights for his personal pleasure, business, or hobbies with the aim of having fun discovering new places in any place he wishes to fly. By choosing a PPL Training Course, the candidate has also completed the first step/module from the Modular Course in case he wishes to continue with his studies and become Commercial Pilot.

Purpose and Goals

The PPL Course is aimed at training pilots from zero experience to Private Pilot level, as private pilots in command, on single engine piston (SEP) aircrafts under visual flight rules. With this license the candidate can either rent or buy an aircraft and start enjoy flights in «new destinations».

He can start flying for his personal fun, either as a hobby in his free time or to discover all the Greek Islands with his family members. Τhe graduate has the right to fly and discover places not only in Greece. He can also have as a starting point any country belonging to Europe and is under EASA regulations.

Course Structure

Ground School: Comprehensive theoretical instruction covering 9 topics such as  air law, human performance, meteorology ,communication, principles of flight, operation procedures, flight performance & planning, aircraft general knowledge and navigation.

Flight Training: Practical flight instruction in single-engine airplanes including 40 hours, to develop piloting skills.

Simulator Training: Use of 5 hours flight simulators to practice complex procedures, emergency situations, and instrument flying techniques.

Requirements

Minimum Age: Typically, candidates must be at least 16 years old to start training.

Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required.

Medical Certification: A valid Class 2 medical certificate is necessary to ensure the candidate meets the health standards for commercial pilots.

Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English, as it is the international aviation language.

Duration and Cost

The course duration can vary but typically ranges from 6 to 12 months, depending on the student’s progress.

The cost of a PPL Course is 14.900€.

Certification and Career Path

Upon successful completion, graduates will have the qualifications required to fly in any EASA Country as Pilot in Command in Single Engine aircrafts.
